Due to the small size of the company, I have a high level of responsibility and am frequently asked to act in a supporting role on accounting projects. This requires a high level of computer literacy, an ability to process detailed calculations, and excellent business communication skills. I am often called upon to communicate directly with clients and clients’ customers and vendors and to write business correspondence. I wrote the company's first employee handbook.

Worked at Cambro Manufacturing Company in Huntington Beach. Responsibilities included entering and following-up on purchase orders, setting up inbound shipments and working with the Accounts Payables Department to resolve billing issues.

June 1999 - June 2002 Purchasing Agent, McWhorter Technologies/Eastman Chemical
Served as both Raw Materials Planner and Purchasing Agent. Was responsible for the movement of over $1 million of raw materials per month. Job required advanced interpersonal skills and problem solving abilities, as well as the faculty to accurately process large quantities of detailed calculations on a daily basis.

Managed front office duties and acted in a supporting role to the Accounts Payable Department, Purchasing Agent, and Sales Representatives.
